About Us
Suraj Education Network (Suraj EN) builds interactive educational games that sharpen cognitive ability, mental agility, and thinking speed — skills that matter at every age. Our games turn meaningful mental exercise into an engaging experience for everyone, from children building foundational number sense to older adults keeping their minds active and sharp.
Founded in 2014, Suraj EN was launched by Aarti Kapur and Prof. Rajen Kapur with the web version of its first educational games. The venture draws its name and inspiration from the late Sri Suraj Prakash Kapur, a mathematician and lifelong puzzle-solver whose passion for numbers set the intellectual foundation that both founders carry forward today.
We believe that mathematics and logical reasoning are not just academic subjects — they are core tools for building sharper, faster, more resilient minds. That belief drives everything we create. Over the years, the platform has evolved from web-based games to touch-screen experiences designed for smartphones, meeting learners where they already spend their time.
Our Founders
Aarti KapurCo-Founder
Aarti brings a multidisciplinary technical and business perspective to Suraj EN. She holds a B.Tech. from IIT Delhi, an MS from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from ISB Hyderabad. Her background spans engineering, technology, and strategy — a combination that shapes how Suraj EN approaches game design and user experience.
Prof. Rajen KapurCo-Founder
Prof. Kapur has been part of Suraj EN since day one. A B.Tech. (Hons.) from IIT Kharagpur and ME (ECE) from IISc Bangalore, he spent over a decade in R&D (avionics and systems) and worked as a Chartered Engineer in the design and development of testing instrumentation before moving into education. In 1983, he founded STEP (Science & Technology Education Professionals), reflecting a long-standing commitment to making science and mathematics accessible. That same mission drives his work at Suraj EN.
Our Approach
